Dreaming: This painting celebrates the artist's sacred connection to his Country.   Densely layered and thickly dotted, with linear form, Tommy deploys his strong signature colours of deep purple, red and pink.  Importantly, Tommy depicts no identifiable iconographic form or colour in any of his work that could give the uninitiated insight into sacred sites or the ritual knowledge they impart.  Tommy's paintings describe places or encounters of personal and private significance, which he did not share or expand upon.
